Roast Wild Turkey

 

1 Turkey

1 cup Butter, melted

Salt and pepper

 

Place turkey in a large roasting pan.  Make sure it is breast side up.  Add a little water to bottom of pan, about 1/4 inch.  Brush turkey with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Cover loosely with foil to delay browning.  Roast at 325 degrees for approximately 4 hours.  Baste with butter occasionally.  Remove tinfoil near the last 1/2 hour to brown.  Check for doneness, juices will run clear.
